Meet

Magenta Rose Brown is a bicoastal comedian, actor, and writer originally from San Diego, CA currently living in Brooklyn, NY. She has performed at numerous comedy clubs and festivals, including The Comedy Store, The Hollywood Improv, Broadway Comedy Club, The Comedy Chateau Festival, Laugh Riot Grrrl Festival, Imposter Syndrome Comedy Festival, Crooked Mouth Comedy Festival, the Montclair Comedy Festival, and the HaHa Harvest Festival. She was a finalist at the Ladies Room Comedy Festival in Harlem. Her play “Alex^4” won the George Burns and Gracie Allen Fellowship in Comedy, and her comedy short film “See Where It Goes” has been accepted into multiple Academy Award and BAFTA-Qualifying Film Festivals. She regularly hosts her comedy variety show “Bachelorette’s Handbag” which includes elements of stand-up, improv, musical comedy, and variety talent acts.
