Comedian Joncea Dixon started doing open mike shows on the comedy circuit in Washington, DC sometime around 2008 Since that time she’s shared the stage with some of the country’s most prominent comics including, Red Grant, Luenell and Joe Torrey. Joncea, is one determined young woman who recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams. “I believe in me and I’m going to keep going until I reach my destination, all the while making people laugh!” Joncea’s dream is to make movies, do plays and eventually end up with a number 1 talk show. She is inspired by great people like Oprah Winfrey, Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. She also admires Sylvia Traymore Morrison and Chico Will the comedians that always kept her on course. Joncea biggest influence in her life is her mother. “My mother beat cancer 3 times she is the reason why I’m a fighter, I have seen a true champion and I wont stop until I bring home the gold”. Through Joncea’s strong belief in God she plans on taking this comedy world by storm.
